I'll always remember your outgoing personality, kindness and smiles. I'll see you again one day!
ReplyDeleteShe was a sunny, shining girl with a beautiful smile and gracious spirit. She made me feel special just because I was her aunt's dear friend.
ReplyDeleteShe was brave and put up a good fight when faced with living a life she could never have thought she would have to endure. The world will miss her tremendously and I am sad that such a bright light was not able to exist here for her loved ones.
She will light up the heavens and run and jump in the clouds until the time she can run to meet her family when they join her in the future.
Hello. Not sure if you guys remember me or not but my name is Steve Adams. Your family pics are unreal. Such a sweet family. I remember hearing about all of you being down in Utah from Tamara over the years. I read all of the blogs on here and was really touched. Sometimes I wonder about all that goes on in this world. I just want to say that our family is thinking of you guys and that I can help out if you need me to help raise money or do whatever. I will discuss with Tamara. Our hearts are with you guys from up here in Okotoks. Steve and the rest of the Adams family.
ReplyDeleteI will always remember your smile because you were always smiling,, You will missed ......

My first memory of you was you had moved to Okotoks and you and Tamara were at gymnastics. You had such incredible energy and enthusiasm and radiated life & exuberance climbing the bars on the wall to the top!! haha I was far too afraid to try and push that boundary! But you seem to have no fear :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I reconnected with Tamara on facebook years ago, I asked how you were and I was saddened to hear of your accident.....I was happy to hear that your outlook was positive and inspiring in light of such a tragic event :)
I'm sorry this has happened......Your family and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending love and light to all of you xo
Jacquie......Keep shining above us like that little girl in gymnastics that day!
Erica
Jacquie taught me some lessons in life that I still make use of to this day....How to drive, how to keep up with the boys on the ski hill, how to floss and how to pronounce properly words with the ending 'ing'
ReplyDeleteShe was also a lovely sister to my dear friend Tamara, and a great friend to me and my sister, Sarah. We love you Jacquie and will always remember you!

I love you and will miss you everyday.
ReplyDeleteJacquie, There won't be a day that goes by that I do not think of you. You had such a love for life and were always so positive and fun to be around. I was telling my mom the other day about my favorite memory of you. Andraya and I were babysitting Rylee at the Ranch and when you and Paul came home you guys decided it would be funny to cut the power to the house and start throwing rocks at the windows to try and scare us. Initially we were scared until Paul`s bright white sweater gave you guys away. It just reminds me so much of how you loved life and would try to make some fun in everything you did. I will miss you always.
ReplyDeleteJacquie was so cool and I looked up to her a lot. I remember how awesome she was at wakeboarding (for a girl:)) she was throwing backflips and getting so close at actually landing them! I was inspired by her. She was fearless. Her smile and personality was something you always wanted to be around. She sincerely always wanted to hear about what I was up to and what my thoughts were about things. She loved to cook and was one of the best when it came to making yummy desserts. Matt and I both agree that she was always so sincere and would always tell it like it was...we will miss you so much Jacquie...until we meet again. Love you. xo
ReplyDeleteJacqueline ( Jack Wack),
ReplyDeleteI already miss you so much!! I miss the fun moonlight rides out at the ranch. I remember when it was late at night and we were out at the ranch and we decided to pile my little brother and his friend on top of the jeep and drive around in the dark out in the alph alpha field. It was like driving on a roller coaster ride , up and down twisting and turning. I was driving and on one quick turn, Jacquie said "oh oh!" We both looked out the window and saw my brother flying through the air like superman!!! We were amazed at how far he flew!! We drove in the dark to find where he landed and see if he was ok! We were worried because he was laying in the dirt and hunched in a ball. We thought he was crying. When we rolled him over we saw that he was laughing super hard!! He wasn't hurt at all. We all complimented him on his excellent flying skills and piled him back on top of the jeep and took off again!
This was one of Jacquie and my favorite "do you remember when" story's.
I miss you Jaquie!!!

ReplyDeleteI grew up in Okotoks and looked up to Jacquie and Paul. I remember admiring them as they had their first few babies and thinking, they are the most beautiful couple with gorgeous kids. To hear of Jacquie's accident was so heartbreaking. I couldn't imagine how difficult the situation was for Jacquie, Paul and their beautiful 6 children. I remember holding my 4 children a little closer, appreciating everything about them and counting my blessing a lot more. I remember in those early days after her accident getting on my knees and praying for her, that a miracle would happen and that she would regain strength and mobility. I am sad that after her passing I found her blog, I would have loved to comment and support her while she fought the good fight! Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul and the kids and all of the family. We pray for you to feel peace and comfort through this terrible loss of a dear wife, Mother, daughter, sister and friend.
ReplyDeleteI went to school with both Jackie and Paul in Okotoks and I remember she was in one of my classes forget which class (drama possibly). Anyways, We were all waiting for the teacher, and I looked over to her and she was scribbling on a peice of paper. I said what are you doing and she just held up the paper and it said her name plus Hill. She was practing her signature. She was not dating Paul at that time but I think she always liked him. What amazed me is that she was not even shy about sharing what she was doing with me. We just giggled. Now that's true love:) My thought and prayer are with you Paul. Sincerly Arpan Hari

I spent a summer in Utah with Tamara about 7 years ago, and what I remember the the most was how much fun Jackie was. Everyday she had something fun planned for her kids, Tristin and I would tag along as often as we could! And if we were lucky stick around for dinner. ( she always seemed to wipe up something amazing) It was a great summer away and definitely because of Jackie and the time I got to spend with her and her beautiful family. You will be for ever missed. Xo

One of the many blessings in my life has been a true, life-long friendship with Jacquie's aunt, Judy. We were raised in a small town where each other's families became like our own. My own daughter, Jenessa, was an only child, however, through my childhood friendship, she acquired the love of the extended "Ralph" family, of which there were no shortage of siblings and cousins to share.
ReplyDeleteI will always treasure the special friendship we share with the Ralph/Fleming clan. My life has been richer for having had you all in it! Even though our lives and our children's lives have been entwined with many, many memories over the years, Jacquie will be forever frozen in my mind dancing at Judy's wedding.
She looked so vibrant and simply radiated joy. Jacquie was always beautiful, but at that point in her life she had acquired the unique beauty of a mature, confident and happy woman. Her and Paul had been living in Utah and their family had grown considerably since I'd seen them last. Watching them, you could feel that they were in a very good place together.
Her infectious smile was glowing on her face all night long as she danced as if no one was watching...totally in the moment. This is how I will remember you, Jacquie. Dancing at Auntie Judy's wedding with your inner joy and beauty shining brightly for all to see.
Dance, Jacquie...dance!
xo
Jacquie :) I love you so much! You're my dream mom and an inspiration for me..I look up to you everyday! I always love going to the Hill home not just to see my best friend Ry but to see a women that has such an infectious smile. I'll always remember her as a person you could honestly ask anything..lots of questions haha ;) She always looked beautiful and was constantly making sure we were doing something fun or crazy! I'm still jealous of how tan she always got..i'd lay out for hours and then go over to her house and still she was black compared to me. I miss her so much everyday! with all that athleticism and energy that was bottled up inside her I bet she's running everywhere! Jumping. Flying. Doing the crazy things I'd never dare to do! :) I love you Jacquie you will always have a place in my heart.

Jacquie.
ReplyDeleteI love you so much and miss you more than I thought was possible. You are one of my closest friends. I always felt I could talk to you about anything and everything. You always had a listening ear. Before I was part of the family you made me feel like I was part of the family. You would invite me over for your delicious cooking or call me often to see how I was doing.
What I miss most is just having you around. When I go to your house I feel lonely, because when our husbands were doing there thing, we would be talking or watching "so you think you can dance". You are an amazing women and an inspiration to all of us. I often laid in bed and tried not to move a muscle and thought of you and how brave you are. Not many people could handle the trials you were given. I never got to tell how proud I am of you for changing your life around. That right there shows how strong you are. Thank you for always sharing your love with me. I know you are so happy where you are because you are free from your limited body. I look forward to the day that we will meet again and we can dance together. I love you
Kristi Hill
